Weeding my garden today. Thought i was pulling weeds and then i realized they are my turnips i planted. Picked my mustard greens also for my smoothies in the morning. Setting up the crock pot now .. making a white bean soup for New Year's Day .. will add my turnips i picked today.
The New Year is arriving. Let's make it a Great Year of 2012 and eat more greens; esp. KALE !!
This sounds so good! I'm so glad you got cancelled for today, at work. I hope you can make some bird seed cakes...if you don't have a wire holder you can shape them into bells, and other shapes...just run a cord of twine through the middle and knot at bottom so twine can't pull out. I just bought a bunch of red organic kale at the market!
ReplyDelete, and some dried beans I have never heard of before. I bought the other things there to cook them according to the package. It includes one green plantain!
